This carteri variety is refined in the small village of Beit Sahur, in the governorate of Bethlehem, Palestine, and then hand-packed in Montreal, Canada, in a glass vial with 40 grams of this precious resin. For hundreds of years, it has been used in Orthodox Christian worship, symbolizing the prayers of the saints ascending to heaven. Use a small amount on a piece of charcoal, and the fragrant smoke will fill your space in stillness and reverence. Please note, the censer shown in the images is not included.
