About this piece
Christ Enthroned. This icon depicts Jesus Christ seated in majesty upon the royal throne, revealing His kingship over heaven and earth and His mercy toward all who come to Him. Portrayed blessing with His right hand and holding the open Gospel, Christ is shown as the Lord who reigns in glory and who calls the weary to Himself. The open book bears His own words: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” This holy image reveals Christ’s authority, His peace, and His tender invitation to every soul. It stands as a sacred proclamation of majesty, mercy, rest, and salvation, calling the faithful to repentance, trust, obedience, faith, and unwavering confidence in God. This sacred image invites contemplation, prayer, veneration, and spiritual connection.
This Christ Enthroned icon is heat-adhered onto solid MDF wood and sealed with a durable black thermofilm laminate that wraps and seals the edges, resulting in a rich, clean finish. Each piece features a 45-degree routed edge on all four sides, giving it a refined, finished look. Available in two sizes: 15 x 20 cm (6" x 8") and 20 x 28 cm (8" x 11"), each with a uniform thickness of 3/4" (2 cm).
Since these icons are produced using a heat-press lamination process, subtle variations in border symmetry may occur—for example, one edge may appear marginally thicker than the opposite side. This is a normal characteristic of the thermolaminate process and does not affect the quality of the image or the structural integrity of the piece.
A timeless and reverent piece, perfect for display in your home, prayer space, or as a meaningful gift.
